Ahh, Cinco De Mayo, the great Mexican holiday.
In college town’s across America, it might as well be an American holiday.
Mexican sombreros, Mexican mustaches (or a Meixcan Mustache sharpied on), Mexican shirts, bandana’s, and some Mexican themed beers/tequila.
Happy Independence Day Mexico!
Actually, Cinco De Mayo isn’t Mexico’s Independence Day (contrary to the belief of every college kid), but who really cares right? It’s the spirit that counts.
The other thing, Cinco De Mayo is officially called Cinco De Drinko, or Drinko De Cinco. So, next year when you hear people saying this come May, don’t be too surprised.
With Cinco De Drinko being in May, a lot of campuses nationwide are pretty sunny, and as Cinco De Mayo occured on a Saturday this weekend, things got pretty crazy.
Day drinking. Day Beer Pong. Day Water fights. Blasting music all day so that the entire neighborhood can hear.
And then the night hits. By nighttime everyone has been going for hours, and it’s a memorable night- or, perhaps not so memorable.
Anyways, check out this video:
