Opt For Hard Alcohol – The most twisted advice you’ve ever heard in your life, right? Not totally. Girls want to eat a good meal so they don’t end up being that girl who can’t hold her alcohol at a party. Guys like to eat a good meal because they’re guys….and they like to drink a lot. However, just binging on pizza and fries for dinner isn’t your best bet. Try filling foods and healthy carbs; go for grilled chicken, a big salad, and/or pasta. We all know that we’ll be eating again when the night ends, so there’s no need to indulge in greasy foods twice in one night.

Let’s be real: sometimes we don’t even make it back to campus before we decide we need to stop at Taco Bell for a late night snack. Try not to go too crazy on these 3am food binges – you’ll feel even worse in the morning after a night of too many drinks and too many burgers.
Work Out! – If you’re athletic like myself, you actually like working out. However that’s not the case for everyone. Going for a nice mid-afternoon run outside, hitting the fitness center for a Boot Camp class, or even using the rowing machine to tone up, will prove very usually in combating the Freshmen 15. Make it a routine with your girls (or guys) to go and work out multiple times a week, especially on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
