On any given college weeknight (Sunday-Wednesday), a number of things could happen. Sunday nights are usually a standard homework/calm night, but after that, anything goes. Common Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday night activities are dorm drinking games (try king’s cup with cards), homework, working-out, visiting friends in other dorms, tv, video games, hanging out, etc. Typically about 25% of the people in your dorm will be at the library on a given weeknight, with a lesser amount drinking. The majority of people are just hanging out, playing some video games, going to dinner, flirting with girls, and just living life in the dorms. Things do change on Wednesday, in which more people drink, hence the term “wasted Wednesday”. This is really the great thing about college, in that you’re free to do whatever you want when you want without any parental supervision.
